In response to what it describes as a grave violation of international law, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela launched a nationwide mobilization this Monday under the banner of the “Great Anti-Imperialist March for Peace and Against the Narco-Terrorism of the Fascist Far Right.”

The initiative, led by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), aims to reaffirm popular support for President Nicolás Maduro and to reject recent actions by the United States government.

The mobilization follows the announcement by U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi of a $50 million reward for information leading to the capture of President Maduro, whom she accused of ties to international drug cartels. Venezuelan authorities have condemned the measure as a “propaganda operation” and a “desperate distraction” from internal U.S. controversies, including the Epstein investigation.

In Caracas, the capital, the march began at Parque Francisco de Miranda and proceeded through key symbolic locations, including the United Nations offices, Plaza Altamira, and Plaza José Martí. Similar mobilizations were held in states such as Anzoátegui, Monagas, and Zulia, where governors and PSUV leaders emphasized the defense of national dignity and constitutional authority.

Speaking from the capital, Nahún Fernández, Head of Government of the Capital District, stated: “We raise our voices to condemn destabilization attempts, guarimbas, and terrorist acts—phenomena already overcome by the indomitable will of our people.” He added that the U.S. government “seeks to position itself as global judge while unjustly persecuting migrants and now escalating its aggression against our President.”

Diosdado Cabello, PSUV Vice President, echoed the call for unity, declaring that revolutionary forces are mobilized “as one block” to defend peace, sovereignty, and the Constitution. He warned that extremist groups, allegedly linked to drug trafficking and protected abroad, continue to threaten national stability.

The Venezuelan government maintains that the accusations against Maduro lack legal foundation and are politically motivated. Foreign Minister Yván Gil dismissed Bondi’s statements as a “media show” designed to appease extremist sectors in the U.S. and distract from domestic scandals.

The mobilization also served to reinforce Venezuela’s position on international platforms. Officials reiterated calls for respect for national sovereignty and denounced what they described as imperialist aggression. The PSUV emphasized that the defense of the homeland is not only a political duty but a moral imperative.

As the march concluded, organizers called for continued vigilance and civic participation. “In Venezuela, peace will always prevail,” Fernández affirmed. “We will continue to strengthen the well-being, independence, and sovereignty of the Bolivarian homeland.”
